1. Head to the Layouts tab and click on Layout Editor. From the list, select Background.
2. A new list will pop up alongside it; in this list, select Image.
3. In the drop down menu, select the photo sharing site or other location of the graphic you want as your background.

4. Hit the Continue button and browse for your image. Once you've found the image you want, hit the Submit button.
5. Check the Use Image checkbox.
6. Once you're completely done customizing your layout, hit Save on the right hand side of the editing pane, name and tag your layout, and use the checkbox to indicate whether or not to make your personalized layout public. Then hit the Get Code button on the upper right hand side of the page and paste that code into the CSS field of your MySpace or other social networking site profile.
