1. Pick out a background that you'd like to add to your profile. Hint: You'll be tiling this image, so you might want to choose a pattern rather than a detailed image.
2. Right-click on it, and save it to your desktop.

3. Go to Twitter.com and sign in to your account.
4. Click the Settings link at the top of your Twitter page.
5. Hit the Design tab toward the top of the page.
6. Click the Change Background Image link, click the Browse button, and find the image you had saved to your hard drive.

7. Click the Tile Background check box, then hit the Save Changes button.
